Survey on Transition to PoS
Hdac aims to provide various blockchain solutions and services that are necessary for the total ICT era through incorporating blockchain technology with the driving forces of 4th industrial revolution such as IoT, Big Data, and Cloud.
Blockchain is an evolving technology. Hdac has been steadily building its foundation for higher values by making efforts to evolve its technology accordingly. As a part of that journey, Hdac recently has started the development of ‘Friday,’ a new PoS(Proof-of-Stake) blockchain.
In comparison to PoW(Proof-of-Work), PoS(Proof-of-Stake) can provide more stable and decentralized ecosystem as the interests of block creator and holder are aligned with each other.
Also, PoS can provide better scalability and speed than PoW. Therefore, PoS makes it more suitable for attracting DApp partners and providing IoT service and payment service.
Prior to designing the governance and the coin economy, we would like to ask for the opinion of the Hdac community members on transitioning to the new PoS(Proof-of-Stake) mainnet.

블록체인은 진화 중인 기술로, 에이치닥 또한 끊임없는 기술발전을 통해 에이치닥의 가치 제고를 위한 근본을 다지고 있으며, 그 일환으로 최근 PoS(지분증명) 방식 신규 블록체인 ‘프라이데이’의 개발에 착수한 바 있습니다.
PoS(지분증명) 방식은 기존 PoW(작업증명) 방식과 달리 블록 생성자와 지분 보유자의 이해관계가 일치하기 때문에 보다 안정적이고 탈중앙화된 생태계의 조성이 가능합니다.
또한, PoW(작업증명) 기반 알고리즘에 비해 확장성과 높은 속도를 확보할 수 있어 DApp 파트너들의 유치에 유리하고 사물인터넷 환경 서비스와 결제 서비스에도 보다 적합합니다.
본격적인 거버넌스와 코인이코노미 설계에 앞서, 신규 PoS(지분증명) 기반 메인넷으로의 전환에 대한 에이치닥 커뮤니티 여러분들의 의견을 여쭙고자 합니다.
